Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator操作注意事項如下：
1. Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator一拆開包裝，遇到空氣中的氧立即由白色變粉紅色，放置於厭氧缸中二小時後可觀察到厭氧指示劑逐漸變白。
2. 放置Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator時，不可靠近厭氧產氣包或將Indicator貼在厭氧缸壁上，厭氧產氣包產生的熱及水氣會影響Indicator變色效果。
3. 最佳放置Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator的位置及方式，如同下列照片中，把外包裝撕開後攤平放在培養皿上。
4. Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator也適用於厭氧操作台之厭氧環境監控，當發現厭氧操作台內之Oxoid Anaerobic Indicator已乾涸，請立即更新。
